Problems With Network Marketing
Many companies and people are attracted by the wonderful benefits that network marketing provides. Earning a five digit figure is seemingly easy when network marketing is used and more then often many people falls into greed.
Multi-level marketing schemes require you to recruit people who will purchase your product and at the same time poeple who just continues the flow of recruiting other people. Many people feels that the problem lies in the pyramid structure, but in actual fact many large organizations has that. For example, salespeople get commission, and sales managers get overrides or bonuses on top of that, and sales directors on top of that, and VPs on top of that.
Illegal pyramid selling schemes make their money from signing up people with little or no real product ever being delivered. Despite this, there are companies such as Amway, Excel, Meleleuca, PrePaid Legal, USANA who have made millions of dollars by selling their products and many of their customs are satisfied with what they have purchased.
The actual problem with network marketing is actually the people it attracts. The attractive factor is that the cost of entry is extremly low and it has potential of producing an exceptional amount of revenue. These attractive factors attract many people who in actual fact are not ready or qualified to become business owners. Network marketing usual attracts people who have not done well in their business or profession and have little money saved up to invest.
As a result, many network marketers over-selling the opportunity and coming across as desperate. More commonly, these network marketers become over-focused on new recruits and neglecting existing customers as a result. A major problem is that these network marketers tend to be inaccurate or deceptive when talking about their business thus causing a lack of trust between them and the customers.
